Last year when I was teaching Earth System Science (4000 level, honors module), some of my mid-term feedback was that I should show more videos illustrating concepts or mechanisms. So, since then I have spent quite a lot of time in searching for and watching educational videos. I’ve been meaning to compile a list by topic, so it’s easier for me to find them when I need them. I’m starting the list now, but the idea is to update it whenever I find something good & relevant to the topics I teach.
So far the list covers only the topics from the modules I taught this semester:
- GE2229 Water and the Environment (NUS Geography): introductory module, 2000 level, taught AY 2017/2018 Sem 2
- GE4211 Advanced Hydrology and Water Resources Management (NUS Gegoraphy): honors level module, upper undergrad., taught AY 2017/2018 Sem 2
